About Me
Kelila Heller is co-owner with Tami Podell of Assisted Living Connections, an assisted living placement agency providing no-cost services to families and seniors. Established in 2011, their team of six compassionate professionals serve Ventura County and Los Angeles County.
Kelila is on the Board of Directors for Senior Concerns, a Ventura County non-profit that provides Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Care, Caregiver support groups, seminars and a myriad of free services. She holds a California Department of Social Services Administrators RCFE Certification for elder care facilities.
Kelila’s mother suffered a fractured hip, then a major stroke at the young age of 74. Fourteen years ago, Kelila helped her mom move into an assisted living community and later, a smaller residential care home. Kelila’s mother, grandmother and aunt all had dementia. These experiences inspired her to guide families through the many choices and challenges of senior care and senior living. She and her team are honored to help families and seniors.
