About Me
I was born in Sacramento, raised in Carmichael and have lived over 30 years in Placer County. I have been married for 32 years to my long-time love and partner at First Choice, Kelley. We have two adult, grown and flown kiddos. When I’m not working on First Choice business, I enjoy being outside riding bikes of all kinds, growing fruits and vegetables as well as raising chickens.

As a Sacramento native, I have a excellent perspective of the area and the various suburbs and neighborhoods. Over the last 12 years I have toured and been inside over 600+ care homes across the greater Sacramento area. They are not all equal. We know quite a lot about who owns them, their relevant experience, the track records with the Department of Social Services, how they staff and what they offer in terms of levels of care and types of personal care services available. First Choice does not operate or have any ownership of any care homes, In-Home Care agencies or any related senior services. Our sole mission is to provide information and help find safe and appropriate senior care options to the families that we work with. YOUR Family is OUR Focus.

First Choice Senior Placement helps families navigate the complex world of senior care. We assist with placement and offer guidance pertaining to the complexities of each individual situation. We can help with emergency cases where placement is required within 24 hours or less, difficult cases where advanced dementia and associated challenging behaviors may be present, hospice clients as well as work with families or individuals that are just getting started.
